We hope that you all find this useful in explaining and demonstrating the use of these various methods of powering your security installation. Let us know if you have any question!

I didn’t know there was a connector to give you the ability to go directly from the siamese cable (power side) to the power supply terminal. This connector is very helpful. Thanks for showing!
very informational , i like your videos Apex CCTV!
Thanks for the reminder about polarity. That is something that can be overlooked be a rookie installer or by a novice!
And here i’ve been running individual cables and power supplies for every camera instead of using one of those multiple channel boxes… that will sure make things easier!
Thanks for the vid guys
DON’T SHOCK YOURSELF!
There are also cables for cameras with built-in audio that include a third cable with RCA connectors.
ALSO, there are cables that include power, video, and bare wire for connecting PTZ cameras and controllers. Very slick; just about cuts your installation times in half.
Is there a difference in quality between pre-cut siamese cable that already has the ends terminated and spooled cable where you have to terminate the ends yourself?
nice
