Networking Guide Video Tutorial Series – Part 1: Basic Information
In this multi-part Video Tutorial Series on Networking, we will be covering everything that you will need to know when setting up a network (IP) based security system. Many of the tips and tricks here can be easily utilized when performing other everyday networking tasks, like setting up other network-based gadgets in your home, but we will focus on, and use terminology from, the surveillance industry.

I am excited for this series on networking! I just received my DVR and definitely need to learn how it works, unless anyone would like to come set it up for me!

How much computer knowledge do you need to have to be able to configure this type of equipment? I’m fairly skilled with PC’s but seem to be getting a lot of useful information from your videos too. I am hoping your next video is as good as your first! : )
