This CCTV Security Camera switch selects the camera synchronization mode: internal synchronization mode (INT) or line-lock mode (LL).
L/L: Sets it to line-lock mode. This makes the vertical phase of the camera’s video signal match the phase of the AC power.
INT: Sets the internal sync to 2:1 interlaced.

So this is helpful where the power has phase issues. Particularly where there is a variance from the standard 60Hz cycle that we rely on for AC power.
I’m pretty sure the 2nd part is wrong. Can somebody please check with the MFG. and update this post?

I am glad there is some one that know what all this stuff means.

The way I understand the “interlace mode” to be used is as a process where every other horizontal line is scanned in one field while the alternate lines are scanned in the next field to produce a complete picture frame.
