Funny CCTV Footage – Convenience Store Drunkenness
Posted by joeltjen in Funny and Interesting, Randomness on November 3, 2009
It’s definitely good that this convenience store had some decent quality, color security cameras up… otherwise we wouldn’t get to see these hilarious clips of an absolutely ridiculously intoxicated/inebriated man trying to buy more beer. Now, don’t get me wrong, I hope the guy turned out ok and everything, but you still can’t help but chuckle when you watch his absolute lack of control over his own body.
The practical lesson here is, of course, that having these security cameras protected the store from any claims against them and allows for evidence in case anything was destroyed. Surveillance systems provide asset & integrity protection that simply cannot be provided any other way.

Ever rock out so hard in the shower or car that you hurt yourself? This guy did. Check it out! I guess the people that monitor security cameras like this get their small victories from time to time. I’m sure this made their night.
CCTV Isn’t All about Theft and Asset Protection!

I have been keeping an eye out for interesting security camera footage, cctv bloopers, and examples of excellent surveillance system demos, but when I came across this video I could not pass up sharing it with you guys.
It’s not often we get to appreciate our industry for something other than capturing crooks or deterring break ins, but I think this video proves that there are definitely other reasons for buying a decent, hi-res camera.
Enjoy.
