AI-amp/AI is the setting used when using an auto-iris lens. If you use an auto iris lens, you have to set it to A1-amp. When using a manual lens, leave the setting at AI. VS/DC is a switch for selecting the control signal for auto iris lenses. Use DC for auto iris lenses controlled by DC (Direct Current) signals and VS for auto iris lenses controlled by video signals.

A bit off-topic, but what is the difference between an Auto- and Manual-Iris lens?

An auto-iris lens will adjust to changing light conditions, whereas a manual-iris lens will not.
Auto-iris lenses are typically used for outdoor applications and manual-iris lenses are typically used for indoor applications with fixed lighting.
Hope this helps!
